ওই মহড়ার রেশ কাটতে না কাটতেই এবার যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে কড়া সমালোচনা করলো ইরান। মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্পকে সন্ত্রাসী হিসেবে আখ্যা দিয়েছেন, ইরানের সর্বোচ্চ নেতা আয়াতুল্লাহ খামেনির সামরিক উপদেষ্টা ব্রিগ্রেডিয়ার জেনারেল হোসাইন দেহকান। আল জাজিরাকে দেয়া সাক্ষাৎকারে হুমকি দিয়ে বলেন, হামলা চালালে উল্টো জবাবও দিতে হবে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রকে।
ইরানি সর্বোচ্চ নেতার সামরিক উপদেষ্টা ব্রিগ্রেডিয়ার জেনারেল হোসাইন দেহকান জানান, ট্রাম্প একজন অপরাধী। তাকে প্রেসিডেন্ট বলার সুযোগ নেই। তাই ইরান কোন অবস্থাতেই যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের সঙ্গে আলোচনায় বসবে না। পারস্য উপসাগরে ওয়াশিংটন যদি ইরান বিরোধী কোন সামরিক পদক্ষেপ নেয়, তাহলে তার জবাব হবে অকল্পনীয়।
এদিকে ২০১৫ সালে সম্পাদিত পরমাণু চুক্তিই ইরানের পারমাণবিক সঙ্কট সমাধানের অন্যতম হাতিয়ার বলে মন্তব্য করেছে জার্মানি। মঙ্গলবার (২৩ জুন) জার্মানি বার্লিনের সংবাদ সম্মেলনে পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী হেইকো মাস পরমাণু চুক্তি রক্ষায় প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ নিতে ফ্রান্স এবং যুক্তরাজ্যের প্রতি আহ্বান জানান। ইরান সঙ্কট সমাধানে ২০১৫ সালের পরমাণু চুক্তির উপর জোর দিয়েছে জার্মানি।
